PEGGY CUMMINS

Peggy Cummins (1925) is best known for her role in Joseph H. Lewis' noir gem GUN CRAZY (1949), playing a Bonnie-esque sharp shooter who robs banks with her Clyde-esque lover John Dall. Born in Wales, she made her film debut in DR. O'DOWD (1940). She moved to Hollywood in the mid-‘40s and made five films in addition to GUN CRAZY) before returning to Britain in 1950. She later co-starred with Dana Andrews in NIGHT OF THE DEMON (1957), directed by Jacques Tourneur. She now lives in retirement, presumably somewhere in Great Britain.
